Internship Overview:
Gain experience supporting a Seasoned Executive and their Executive Assistant across scheduling, travel, expenses, errand running, and communications. The intern will collaborate across teams, companies, and artist teams while operating with discretion, strong attention to detail, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative executive support and professional business skills to leadership
Support heavy scheduling and multifaceted Outlook calendar management, including appointment and conference call details
Receive, screen, and follow up on all communications via phone, email, and mail
Prepare extensive domestic and international travel arrangements (air, hotel, transportation, mileage programs, upgrades), including frequent and last-minute changes
Support sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
Provide support across the company; arrange team meetings and disseminate information to internal and external teams
Special projects and coordination of special events as needed
Attend and travel to client events including shows/festivals, providing excellent service to A-list guests
Source, order, and maintain inventory of office supplies
Create and maintain organizational systems (scheduling, travel, contacts, important documents, etc.)
Perform other duties as requested by the Artist Manager
Stay current on emerging artists, sounds, and trends
Assist in planning and executing release rollouts
Work closely with the Artist Manager to support day-to-day artist career development
Coordinate logistics for studio time, travel, and appearances
Requirements:
Previous experience in a corporate environment providing executive-level support preferred
Music industry experience preferred
Able to work up to 29 hours per week, when needed
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
Able to multitask, manage numerous projects simultaneously, and use sound judgment in prioritizing tasks
Commitment to excellence and consistently high-level performance
Proactive; anticipates needs, takes initiative, requires little direction
Strong computer skills; in-depth knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Able to interface with all levels of the organization while maintaining confidentiality
Accurate and thorough in execution of tasks
Able to think outside the box with a sense of urgency
Team player with team-oriented experience and approach
Familiarity with music production, DSPs, and release processes a plus
Passion for music, culture, and artist development
Details:
Our office is in Westwood Village, Los Angeles, CA.
Pay: $18.42 per hour
Expected hours: 20-29 hours per week
3 days a week, preferred
