Contract | Days | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly (excluding on-call time) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct hematology/oncology nursing care, including administration of chemotherapy and immunotherapy
• Perform heavy triage, assessing and responding to patient inquiries and clinical concerns
• Coordinate and obtain authorizations for diagnostic imaging, including PET scans
• Process medication renewals and manage related clinical documentation
• Complete administrative tasks including FMLA paperwork and care coordination activities

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of hematology/oncology nursing experience required
• Chemotherapy and immunotherapy certification required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility location

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 4–5 years of hematology/oncology experience, which may substitute for formal care coordination experience
• Prior experience in a nurse coordinator or patient care coordination role
