Job Description Gastroenterologist Hospitalist opening in Chicago, ILLocated in Chicago, IL Full-time (No part-time or locums available)Hospital-EmployedNo 2027 Grads Overview:* Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist* Inpatient-focused GI Hospitalist role with no outpatient clinic responsibilities* Join a high-performing, multidisciplinary team* Modern facility with strong procedural volume* Excellent work-life balance in a hospital-based setting Clinical Details:* Provide inpatient consultative GI care for acute gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions* Perform high-volume endoscopic procedures including EGD and colonoscopy* Focus exclusively on inpatient care* Collaborate with hospitalists and specialty teams* Participate in inpatient coverage and care coordination Compensation & Benefits:* Base salary range: $600,000 - $650,000 plus productivity incentives* Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage* Retirement plan* CME allowance and paid time off* Malpractice provided* Relocation assistance available Requirements:* MD or DO* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology* Eligible for Illinois medical license* Strong procedural and inpatient experience preferred
