TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Albany, Georgia, 31701!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ASLS or NIHSS, CPI Must-Have: 5+ years of experience in emergency care At least 1 travel assignment experience Experience with Meditech EMR Description: The position requires adherence to a 75-mile radius rule. License address must be included in applications for consideration. Travelers must possess TNCC certification. The unit manages approximately 180-200 patient visits daily. The staff includes the charge nurse and 5-6 nurse aides/paramedics per shift. Security and patient sitters are available and will hold patients in the main emergency area until admission. Requirements include working every other weekend and every other holiday. Nurses will draw labs and initiate IVs independently. A dedicated respiratory therapist is available 24/7 to manage vents. Pharmacy services are available on campus 24/7. Patients range from pediatric to geriatric, with trauma cases included. Some neuro trauma cases are kept on-site, while others are referred to specialty facilities. No burn cases are managed in this facility. The unit operates in a Caribbean Blue scrubs uniform. Completion of the required orientation is expected within the first week. Charting is done using the MEDITECH system. The trauma care level is classified, and the setting is acute.
