DescriptionDescriptionComparion Insurance Agency, a Liberty Mutual company, is seeking motivated and career-driven individuals to join our Insurance Sales Apprenticeship Program. This is a structured, 6-month, hands-on development program designed to prepare participants for a successful career in insurance sales.As an apprentice, you will build foundational knowledge of insurance products, develop consultative sales skills, and gain real-world experience working alongside Sales Managers and Agents. Successful completion of the program is intended to lead to a full-time, benefits-eligible Sales Agent position featuring a competitive base salary, robust uncapped commission structure, bonus opportunities & revenue-sharing potential!Compensation: $24/hourEmployment Type: Temporary (6 months)Benefits: Not eligibleWhat You’ll DoLearn and develop knowledge of auto, home, life, and specialty insurance productsObtain required insurance licenses (company-supported)Shadow and partner with Sales Managers and Sales AgentsConduct customer needs analyses to identify coverage opportunitiesAssist with prospecting, outreach, and lead generation activitiesSupport quoting, proposal development, and new business processingBuild relationships with prospective and existing clientsUtilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage customer interactions and pipeline activityParticipate in community events and networking to promote the Comparion brandDevelop and execute prospecting and Centers of Influence (COI) strategiesProgram StructureThroughout the apprenticeship, participants will progress through:Foundation Building: Licensing, product knowledge, systems trainingSales Development: Customer conversations, needs-based selling, closing supportBusiness Development: Prospecting, networking, and pipeline managementWhat We OfferPaid, hands-on training and licensing supportReal-world sales experience in a consultative environmentMentorship from experienced sales professionalsExposure to multiple carriers and product offeringsClear pathway to a full-time Sales Agent role upon successful completionQualificationsQualificationsRequired Skills & Traits:Self-motivated with a strong interest in sales and career growthStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsOrganizational and time management abilitiesAbility to learn new systems and technology quicklyPreferred Qualifications:Experience in customer-facing roles (retail, hospitality, service, banking, or sales)Exposure to sales, account management, or business developmentInterest in consultative selling and relationship managementAbout Comparion Insurance AgencyComparion Insurance Agency, a Liberty Mutual company, connects customers with insurance solutions that meet their unique needs.
