Position Overview CT Technologist – Evening (4 10's) – Full time. Location: 1906 Belleview Ave SE, Roanoke, Virginia. Shift: Evening (United States). Requisition Number: R149818. The CT Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis of patients. Responsibilities Operate highly specialized equipment to obtain quality images. Perform IV contrast injections and other duties as required. Evaluate and position patients. Interpret information needed to identify each patient’s requirements and provide care per applicable policy and procedures. Interact with patients, families, visitors and all members of the healthcare team to develop, coordinate and manage the plan of care. Assist patients with scheduling, registration, file management and computer processing. Train students and staff as assigned. May need to travel to other Carilion facilities. Education and Credentials High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. Experience and Licensure None required. Must be CT registered within one year of hire. Must hold ARRT registry. Must have AHA-BLS-HCP certification. Skills Good interpersonal and technical skills, flexibility in assignments.
