Job Responsibilities

• Carry out thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical exams and extensive medical history analyses
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions by analyzing imaging studies and lab results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide critical intraoperative assistance by preparing operating rooms, ensuring the proper positioning of patients, and confidently managing surgical instruments
• Offer exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, conducting wound care, planning discharges, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure or eligibility as a Physician Assistant
