Candidates in the program must meet all expectations of the training program including but not limited to; attendance, grade requirements for the didactic content, skills, and affective domains, as well as all Mayo Clinic policies. Upon successful completion of the training program applicants would be eligible to apply for a full-time position with Mayo Clinic Ambulance - Austin/Albert Lea, Fairmont or Owatonna.An EMT is responsible for delivering and administering high-quality care and transportation to ill and injured persons. Must be proficient in English; must have the ability to read, write, and speak in English. Must be eligible for certification with Nationally Registered of EMTs by passing Mayo Clinic criminal background checks.
