Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their function. You will work closely with our physical therapists to provide hands-on care and support to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to work effectively as part of a team and be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Duties
- Assist the physical therapist in providing patient care and treatment
- Implement treatment plans under the direction of the physical therapist
- Administer therapeutic modalities (ie Manual Therapy, Therapeutic Exercises, Therapeutic Activities, etc)
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of therapy equipment

Experience
- Previous experience working in sports and orthopedics preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Experience and skills with manual therapy techniques
