Cranes Project Manager

Brief Description Ready to take on projects that move industry? As a Project Manager with our Cranes Division, you’ll lead high‑impact custom crane system builds from the initial handshake to final installation. You’ll work alongside the Director of Crane Project Management and a cross‑functional team of sales, estimating, and production experts who share your drive for excellence. Job Duties Project planning, execution, and communication from inception through completion Implement key processes from the Mazzella Management System (MMS): KPIs, CARs, Supplier Performance, Kaizen projects, training, and support Direct, plan, and establish project budgets and implementation timelines that support business goals in collaboration with production and sales Manage all project scope, specs, and schedule changes Manage all project activities in accordance with the schedule and take responsibility for overall execution of work Document and execute all changes in scope of project Track and analyze technical problems to identify patterns/trends and determine cost‑effective ways to eliminate root causes Drive a continuous improvement culture/mindset with respect to project delivery and leadership demonstrated through the utilization of performance metrics and defined performance improvement plans Lead and direct cross‑functional teams to include engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and outside contractors Maintain work area, equipment, and tools in a clean and organized manner; follow all Safety Guidelines Commit to lifelong learning by completing all assigned learning and seeking opportunities to improve oneself Other duties as assigned Education A high school diploma or GED is required; an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline is preferred. In the absence of a degree, directly related job experience serving in a project‑management role, where a number of years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement.
