Registered Nurse - ICU

ICU/CCU Night Nurse

Hard start 12/15 8 week contract with option to extend. ICU/CCU nights. Three year experience required. Every other weekend required. Possible float to DOU, Tele or Med Tele. Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, MAB or VIP, NIHSS. Skills required: FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure, obtaining 12 lead EKG, IV insulin protocols, chronic/acute renal failure, accessing ports, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs, continuous IV paralytics/neuromuscular blockade, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, procedural sedation administration, titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips, CVA/acute stroke management, hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, assist with management of BiPAP, assist with management of CPAP, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation of ABGs, suctioning (ETT, NT), ventilator management, infection prevention, isolation precautions/use of PPE, phlebotomy, surgical wounds with drains/wound vac, assist with chest tube insertion/removal, care of ventilated patient. RTO must be on the submittal. No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment. No more than 3 days RTO max.
