RESTAURANT EQUIPMENT SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial refrigeration, ice cream, and foodservice equipment. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, conduct preventative maintenance, and ensure proper operation of all equipment. Perform installations at customer sites, following company and manufacturer guidelines. Respond promptly to service calls, troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures, and document all work performed. Interact professionally with clients to provide technical support, answer questions, and offer recommendations for equipment upkeep. Maintain accurate inventory of tools, parts, and materials. Adhere to safety protocols and company standards at all times. Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical diagrams required. Physical tasks include lifting, carrying, and working in varied environments. Ideal candidates should have basic mechanical and electrical skills, familiarity with commercial equipment, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. Experience in refrigeration or foodservice equipment is a plus. Valid drivers license and clean driving record required.
