Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in Summit, New Jersey. The role involves providing comprehensive perioperative patient care, including assessment, documentation, safety procedures, and patient education. Candidates will support various surgical specialties, including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, and robotics, ensuring a high standard of clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.

Job Details:

• Location: Summit, NJ
• Schedule: Days shift from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associates or Bachelor's Degree; Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license; BLS certification; 1 year of experience in perioperative nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification.
• Additional Information: The role requires scrubbing and circulating on specialty procedures such as orthopedic, general, urology, and robotic surgeries. The nurse must support pre-operative and post-operative assessments, evaluate testing orders, and educate patients and families about surgical procedures. The position emphasizes professionalism, patient safety, and effective documentation practices.
