Inventory Assistant

Marissa Collections is seeking an Inventory Assistant to join their team in Naples. The Inventory Assistant is responsible for picking and processing merchandise in preparation for shipping and transfer. The Inventory Assistant will utilize requisitions and order sheets to pick a variety of products, place and arrange items in proper areas while following specific instructions. This position will play an essential role in the customer experience providing fast service for our customers ordering online and throughout other store locations. The role of the Inventory Assistant , is to provide support to the store, inventory, and eCommerce teams by performing duties in accordance with the standard operating procedures. Responsibilities Include: Pulls and prepares product from online orders and transfer requests Meets specifics of online and transfer orders in a timely manner Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate customer service issues Keeps products separated and organized Keeping records of incoming and outgoing products Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes Process transactions, exchanges, and returns for online orders Other duties as assigned Experience: Pulling, packing, and loading product Receiving, stocking, and sorting product Previous experience in retail or other fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Able to multitask, work independently, and prioritize effectively Ability to work within tight timelines Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office properties Able to quickly learn computer systems and functionality Strong follow up and follow through to ensure all tasks are fully completed Personal Attributes: Detail oriented and organized Able to build & maintain strong relationships both internally & externally Goal-Driven - You’re set on your goals and respect the timelines your goals are bound by Proactive - You believe it’s always on you to make sure anything you do is a success In love with challenges - You revel in solving problems and want a job that pushes you out of your comfort zone Calm under pressure - You have a sense of urgency but can channel it into productively working through any number issues Open to change - You’re inspired by the endless ways in which everything we do can always be improved This is a full-time position.
