Patient Care Technician (PCT)
DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic in the greater Muskegon area.
As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Required Schedule & Clinic Coverage Area
- Work set schedules at 3 clinics within the Greater Muskegon area, 1 clinic located 15min south in Grand Haven, and the occasional shift in Newaygo, MI.
- Operating Hours: 5:00A - 9:00P Monday - Saturday, closed Sundays
- Shift Start & End Times: 4:00A - 10:00P Monday - Saturday
- Work 3-4 shifts per week, alternating opening, and closing shifts
- Shift Length: 8 - 10 - 12hrs at a time, work every other Saturday
- Long Term: Expect to work at other clinics within the area to get full-time hours
Requirements
- Pass a background check & drug screen
- Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent
- Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
- Willing to float between local clinics if needed
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
- Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
- Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
- Record vital signs and patient data
- Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
- Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
