About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 21 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour or Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:00 Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience License: Active RN license required Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications Must-Have: EPIC proficiency is required. Critical Care, Cardiac Care, or Emergency Department experience required. Candidates must work two of the three winter holidays. Local candidates living within a specified radius are not eligible. Description: Join a full-service cardiovascular program. Perform minimally invasive cardiac procedures, including electrophysiology services. Be part of a team providing care for adult and geriatric patients. Engage in rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call. Responsibilities may include assignments in other cardiovascular departments. Utilize specialized skills such as End-Tidal CO2 monitoring and IV vasopressors. Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols. Monitor procedural sedation and assist with diagnostic cardiac catheterizations. Participate in emergency situations with quick decision-making abilities. Maintain high standards of patient care and safety. Demonstrate expertise in cardiac stent placement and percutaneous coronary interventions. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary support teams.
