Media Relations Coordinator

The Coordinator will draft and edit a wide array of written materials to best position the firm, attorneys, and practice groups in industry publications and the news. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with strong writing skills and a solid administrative foundation looking to transition into a communications role. Responsibilities Draft award nominations, editorial submissions, and news releases Coordinate with a variety of legal publications specifically with awards and nominations Update and maintain attorney and practice group rankings and update attorney bios in a timely manner Assist with other media relations and communications projects Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, or related field 2+ years of professional experience, legal marketing or communications a plus Strong writing and editing skills Proficiency in MS Office Suite Strong problem solving skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Compensation $59,000 - $69,000 annually Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation. #J-18808-Ljbffr The Ford Agency
