Instrumentation and Control Engineer

Seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to support automation and facility control systems for advanced manufacturing and semiconductor facilities. Based in Boise, ID, you'll work with multidisciplinary teams delivering process control, instrumentation, and safety system solutions for complex industrial projects.Apply fast, check the full description by scrolling below to find out the full requirements for this role.Pay: $42.31 - $60.10 per hourKey Responsibilities:Design instrumentation, control, and automation systems for industrial facilitiesPrepare P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and related design documentationPerform instrument and control valve sizing; develop equipment data sheetsDevelop control narratives and sequences of operationReview vendor submittals and coordinate with multidisciplinary project teamsSupport construction, startup, commissioning, and client technical discussionsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university4+ years of instrumentation and controls experienceWorking knowledge of PLC- and SCADA-based control systems, instrumentation, and process controls (Siemens, Omron, or DeviceNet experience preferred)Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively on multidisciplinary teamsMust be fully authorized to work in the USA; sponsorship is not availablePreferred Qualifications:Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineering (PE) certificationFamiliarity with NFPA 70, UL508A, and related industry standardsExperience supporting semiconductor, data center, pharmaceutical, advanced manufacturing, or similar facilitiesExperience with AutoCAD, Revit, or NavisworksExperience with facility monitoring, toxic gas monitoring, fire alarm, or SCADA systemsLocation: Boise, ID (onsite).
