Dialysis Registered Nurse

Dialysis Nurse (RN) – Logan, Ohio DaVita is hiring a Dialysis Nurse (RN) to provide life‑saving care in the greater Logan, Ohio area at our Logan Dialysis Clinic. Paid Training Provided! Schedule Currently M/W/F 5:00 am – 7:30 pm (12‑chair clinic, Braun dialysis machines, 1 RN and 2–3 PCTs per shift). Responsibilities Supervise and perform direct patient care (30%) – including vital signs, dialysis initiation and termination, documentation, physical assessment, transcription of physician orders, and ordered laboratory work. Provide dialysis therapy (20%) – formulate dialysis plans per physician orders, manage ultrafiltration, ensure safety measures, administer medications, and document all activity. Analyze patient assessments and laboratory data (20%) – identify concerns, assess patient condition, review orders, document observations, and communicate emergencies or complications to supervisors and medical directors. Assess patient and family learning readiness (15%) – provide education on renal disease, dialysis treatment, and medical regimen, and participate in the development of the patient’s short‑ and long‑term care plan with monthly progress notes. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; three‑year diploma from an accredited program may substitute for a degree. At least 1 year of experience as a licensed RN in a clinical setting. Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med‑Surg (helpful but not required). Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) preferred. Successful completion of a drug screen and background check. Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match.
