About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Cath Lab experience is required. Description: Level II Trauma Center seeks an RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab. The unit has 3 Cath Labs and a total of 20 staff members. There are 8 RNs, 5 Technicians, 2 Lead Technicians, and 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator on the day shift. There are no staff on the night shift. Patient ratios are 1:1. The types of equipment used include GE EMR, MacLab, and Meditech. Typical procedures performed include PCI, Structural Heart procedures, and diagnostic caths. The ideal candidate should be energetic and positive. The facility encourages teamwork among staff and physicians. Travelers will be scheduled according to facility policy and will be expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
