Finance Lead (Investments) - Irvine CA - 6 Month Contract

Location: Irvine, CA

Duration: 6 Months

Pay Rate: $50/hr depending on experience

Additional Information:

• Note: 3-6 years of experience (more than 6 years will not be considered)
• Consulting experience with steady work history is ideal

W-2 only. No C2C, 1099, third-party vendors, or employer sponsorship available for this position.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3-6 years of finance, consulting, or banking experience
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
• Experience building and analyzing large datasets
• Ability to develop business insights and strategic recommendations
• Strong stakeholder management and executive presentation skills
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams
• Power BI and/or Tableau experience
• Experience supporting business planning, forecasting, budgeting, or strategic initiatives
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Investment management or financial services industry exposure
• Experience presenting findings to senior leadership
• Consulting-style problem solving and structured thinking
• Experience leading projects or serving as a finance business partner

Key Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to business leaders
• Build complex financial models to evaluate business opportunities and risks
• Analyze business performance, trends, and operational metrics
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive decision-making
• Develop dashboards and visualizations using Power BI/Tableau
• Support financial planning, forecasting, and ongoing business reviews
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership
