Key Responsibilities\nAs a Mental Health Clinician, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, gathering vital information to inform treatment planning. \n
- Developing and executing evidence-based treatment interventions tailored to patient needs, including modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). \n
- Engaging in regular clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with departmental standards while providing substantive updates on patient progress. \n
- Participating actively in interdisciplinary care plans by collaborating with healthcare professionals and contributing to case discussions during team meetings. \n
- Providing case management services for assigned patients, facilitating connections with community resources and support services to enhance patient care. \n
- Completing timely and ethical documentation of encounters and sessions to maintain accurate patient records. \n
The patients at Safe Harbor Therapeutic Center encompass a broad variety of backgrounds and age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Clinicians will work closely with clients who present with a range of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. The role requires sensitivity to diverse cultural perspectives, ensuring equitable treatment that respects the individuality of each client.

- Candidates must hold a valid license as either LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R issued by the State of New York. \n
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is required. \n
- Ability to manage a full caseload of up to 40 hours of therapy sessions per week or more, demonstrating commitment and availability to clients. \n
While the minimum requirement is two years of experience, candidates with specialized training in evidence-based practices, such as CBT or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), are strongly encouraged to apply, as well as those who have experience working in outpatient mental health settings.
