Maintenance Lead

In the Maintenance Lead role, you will help this company in its commitment to serve others by maintaining the physical plants/grounds and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order to sustain a safe, attractive and enjoyable living environment for the individuals we serve.

• Distribute and monitor the flow of work for Maintenance Workers
• Provide training and technical assistance to assigned workers
• Assist supervisor in ensuring that assigned employees are provided with appropriate resources, materials, and methods
• Maintain an ongoing preventative maintenance program
• Repair and maintain kitchen, housekeeping, and all other mechanical equipment
• Inspect and repair all damages to hallways, walls, ceilings, floors, roofs, and rooms
• Order necessary maintenance supplies
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Monitor and assist in basic maintenance of facility vehicles
• Keep operational records and data; monitor and enforce observance of safety regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance or electrical experience
• Working knowledge and ability to handle all maintenance and electrical equipment
• Current contractor license as required by the state
• Ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks
• Effective communication skills and well-developed problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality in everything you do
