Role Description This full-time, on-site Heating Air Conditioning Technician role is based in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. The technician will install, maintain, and repair heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems for residential and commercial customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing system issues, performing routine and preventive maintenance, checking electrical and plumbing connections, and ensuring systems comply with EPA and safety regulations. The role also involves interacting with customers on-site, explaining service recommendations, documenting work performed, and collaborating with team members to complete jobs efficiently. Technicians are expected to follow company procedures, maintain tools and equipment, and help uphold service quality standards. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve HVAC and refrigeration issues efficiently. Candidates should possess Plumbing skills relevant to HVAC systems, including working with condensate lines and related piping. Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance experience, including inspections, cleaning, filter changes, and system performance checks. Candidates should possess EPA certification and knowledge of refrigerant handling, recovery, and environmental compliance. Candidates should possess Electricity-related skills, including reading wiring diagrams, working with controls, and performing safe electrical diagnostics. Additional beneficial qualifications include prior HVAC field experience, familiarity with residential and commercial systems, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
