Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist to support a busy Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy located in La Vergne, TN. The pharmacy processes approximately 1,000 prescriptions per day, providing a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This contract position focuses primarily on evening shifts and offers the chance to work with a dedicated healthcare team committed to patient care.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently manage prescription fulfillment in the pharmacy’s fulfillment area.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and quality control.
- Participate in training during the first week, which will be conducted during day shifts to facilitate a smooth transition.
Qualifications:
- Current, clear, and active Tennessee Pharmacist license.
- Previous experience in pharmacy, with a preference for specialty pharmacy exposure.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a high-volume setting.
- Willingness to work the initial training week during day shifts before transitioning to evenings.
