The ideal candidate will possess a robust clinical background, have experience in thoracic transplantation as well as subspecialty expertise in adult cardiac surgery, and share a commitment to academic and scholarly excellence. Key Responsibilities: Perform complex cardiac surgical procedures with a focus on patient safety and optimal outcomes.Manage heart and lung failure using advanced surgical techniques and technologies, including Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), ventricular assist devices (VADs), and heart and lung transplantation.Drive innovation and excellence in clinical practice, staying abreast of the latest advancements in cardiovascular surgery.Engage in ongoing academic and scholarly activities, contributing to laboratory or clinical research projects.Mentor and educate surgical fellows and other healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care and develop individualized treatment plans.Inquiries may be directed to the Search Committee at View email address on click.appcast.io candidates should submit a current curriculum vitae (CV) and a letter of interest outlining their qualifications, relevant clinical, research, and/or educational experience, and career goals.
