**Exciting Opportunity: Registered Echo Technologist - Full Time** **Job Description** - **Position:** Registered Echo Technologist - **Schedule:** 7am-5:30pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (Wednesday off) - **Department:** Cardiovascular **Why Join Us?** - Play a crucial role in diagnosing and improving patient health through non-invasive cardiovascular procedures. - Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to deliver top-notch patient care. **Responsibilities:** - Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to locate, evaluate, and record anatomical, pathological, and functional data. - Execute stress echoes, transesophageal echocardiography, and various cardiology tests including EKGs and Lower Extremity Doppler Studies. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of tests and inform physicians of critical results immediately. - Ensure the cleanliness and functionality of cardiology equipment. - Assist with clerical duties, inventory management, and patient transport within the department. - Participate actively in monthly cardiovascular meetings and quality improvement (CQI) programs. - Provide mentorship by supervising and instructing students and precepting new employees. - Uphold patient rights and privacy by adhering to HIPAA guidelines. - Demonstrate readiness to perform CPR as needed. - Maintain a neat and safe workspace while ensuring compliance with departmental policies. - Embrace continuous improvement principles through active participation in Six Sigma activities. **Qualifications:** - Education: Associate or Bachelor of Science degree in Vascular/Echocardiography or equivalent training. - Certification: CCI, ARDMS registered cardiac sonographer (or registry-eligible), and CPR certification are required. - Experience: 1-2 years preferred in echocardiography, familiar with 2-D echo, M-Mode, Doppler techniques, and stress echocardiography. - Skills: Strong communication abilities, proficiency in clinical interventions, and teamwork mindset. **Physical Capabilities:** - Medium work: Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and 10-25 pounds frequently. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
