About the Position

• Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures.
• Prepare and set up endoscopy rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies.
• Maintain sterile/aseptic technique and follow infection-control standards.
• Clean, disinfect, and process endoscopes and other reusable equipment.
• Inspect equipment and ensure proper functioning before procedures.
• Assist with patient preparation, positioning, transport, and recovery as needed.
• Anticipate the needs of the physician during procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and inventory of supplies.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of GI Lab/GI Technician experience
• AHA BLS certification – Required
• SGNA certification – Required
• Experience with GI and pulmonary diagnostic/interventional procedures preferred.
• Experience with  ERCP, SPYGLASS, EUS, and Navigation Bronchoscopy strongly preferred.
