Job Description & Requirements Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Valley City, North Dakota. Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Telemetry (TELE) Nurse in an acute care unit providing specialized monitoring and care for patients with cardiac and other critical conditions. The role involves delivering quality nursing care across a diverse patient population, including those with pneumonia, COPD, CHF, and GI bleed, within a fast-paced hospital environment. Job Details Shift Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Education and Experience: Must have a current nursing license and at least 1 year of relevant experience Responsibilities include IV starts, telemetry monitoring, NG and Foley catheter management, and setting up and troubleshooting respiratory therapy equipment such as BiPAP, CPAP, and High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) Nurse to patient ratios: 1:3-6, with one CNA per shift handling personal cares, vital signs, and weights Unit notes include a positive team culture, with opportunities to participate in code response teams and unit float to Medical, Telemetry, Observation, and Swingbed units Typical orientation lasts 3-4 shifts of 12 hours each RNs on this unit are expected to read their own telemetry strips and be proficient with Mindray monitors Self-scheduling or team scheduling available; rotations include every other weekend and holiday Benefits The benefits of taking a travel assignment with Cross Country include: Private housing or generous housing allowance Comprehensive health insurance with prescription coverage Dependent health insurance with prescription coverage Competitive salaries Referral bonuses Travel reimbursement 401(k) retirement plan Direct deposit/free checking Unlimited free CE credits 401k retirement plan Referral bonus Additional Information Cross Country Job ID #1306867.
