Concrete Laborer

All Ways Construction is looking for reliable, hard working individuals to fill openings on our concrete and asphalt crews. Responsibilities and Duties Essential Duties Break up and remove existing surfacing before paving. Manual labor such as digging, leveling and spreading dirt, gravel or earth and other construction materials by using hand tools. Spread, level and smooth concrete using rake. Ability to operate motorized equipment (skid steer, excavator, concrete buggy) Maintain a clean job site Conduct documented pre-shift inspections of equipment for safety and mechanical defects. Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects. Perform additional duties as required or directed by their immediate supervisor or other manager. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) - two (2) years of recent construction experience Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Candidate must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to read a tape measure Have good grade perception Ability to work in a number of diverse locations is pertinent, as work locations may change daily.
