Tire Technician

This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Tire Technician Description Compensation: $40,000 - $60,000 annually Job Type: Full-time, year round Duties: - Inspect and assess tire conditions, including tread wear, sidewall damage, and valve quality, to determine repair or replacement needs. - Mount and dismount tires using equipment such as tire changers, balancers, and air compressors - Perform tire repairs, including patching punctures and replacing faulty valves. - Balance and rotate tires according to manufacturer recommendations. - Advise on tire maintenance, performance issues, product options, and warranty information. - Be able to work with large tire from Semi trucks and/or tractors - Provide roadside assistance or on-site tire services when required. Requirements: - High school diploma or GED preferred. - Proven experience as a tire tech and able to work with heavy-duty trucks - Basic mechanical knowledge and use of hand/power tools. - Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions. - CDL (Commercial Drivers License) is a plus but not required. - Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
