Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Pay Range This range is provided by TALENT Software Services. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Base Pay $50.00/hr - $55.00/hr RN01 Duties Provide comprehensive care in labor and delivery, antepartum, and postpartum settings. Administer medications such as anticoagulants, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy. Perform neonatal care including APGAR scoring, cord sample collection, and newborn assessments. Assist with vaginal deliveries and manage postpartum care, including breastfeeding support and wound care. Monitor fetal heart rate patterns using external and internal fetal monitoring techniques. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Skills IV therapy and phlebotomy Administration of blood and blood products Fetal monitoring and use of intrauterine pressure catheter Pain management including epidural anesthesia and IV conscious sedation Isolation precautions and vaccine administration Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, with a preference for experience in NICU Level III Proficiency in using charting systems (Epic - Excellian preferred) BLS and NRP certifications required Experience in antepartum, labor and delivery, and mother/baby couplets preferred Join our dedicated team in Shakopee, a vibrant community offering a perfect blend of urban amenities and natural beauty.
