Director of Physical Therapy

Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to lead its Therapy and Rehabilitation Services team. This role combines clinical leadership with hands‑on patient care across inpatient swing‑bed and outpatient settings. Key responsibilities: Oversee daily rehabilitation operations, clinical performance, and strategic planning Supervise and support PT and PTA staff, including completing PT evaluations Maintain high standards for patient care, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and operational efficiency Collaborate with physicians, facility leadership, and interdisciplinary teams Develop effective treatment programs and help improve patient outcomes Manage a mixed inpatient and outpatient caseload Required qualifications: Active Arkansas Physical Therapist license 2–5 years of management experience in a therapy setting Strong communication, patient education, time‑management, and documentation skills Ability to work independently within a smaller team and adapt between care settings Flu vaccination and supporting immunization records Preferred qualifications: Experience floating between inpatient and outpatient caseloads Black scrubs are required.
