This role works closely with Senior Project Managers, Project Engineering, Contractors, Operations, Supply Chain, and external vendors to help deliver projects on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Senior Project Managers in planning and executing projects across the full project lifecycleMaintain project schedules, action logs, risk registers, and status reportsCoordinate cross-functional meetings, document minutes, and track follow-up actionsMonitor project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies; escalate risks or delays as neededAssist with purchase order tracking, capital documentation, and change management recordsInterface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and external vendorsEnsure project documentation is accurate, current, and properly archivedSupport new product introduction (NPI), capacity growth, and process improvement initiativesHelp standardize project management tools, templates, and reporting processesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)+5 years of experience in a project coordination, project engineering, or operations support roleStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Effective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing or technical environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting capital projects, equipment installations, or manufacturing initiativesFamiliarity with NPI, stage-gate processes, or continuous improvement methodologiesExposure to ERP systems, Power BI, or project management softwareKey CompetenciesAttention to detail and follow-throughStrong coordination and stakeholder engagement skillsData-driven mindset with comfort tracking schedules, costs, and actionsProactive problem identification and escalationCollaborative, team-oriented approachEqual Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action at Nidec Nidec is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
