Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Technical Data Package Delivery Systems Engineer (Principal or Senior Principal Engineer Level) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Systems Engineering organization in Melbourne, FL.In this role, you will support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiatives related to technical documentation. You'll be working under the guidance of the Systems Engineering Manager to uncover and resolve issues associated with technical documentation reviews.This role may be filled at either the Principal Engineer (Level 3) or Senior Principal Engineer (Level 4) level.Expected Roles, Responsibilities, and Skills:Directly support the Systems Engineering Manager on a daily basisCollaborate with team Subject Matter Experts to ensure technical quality of performance requirements and analysis productsCreate training/best practice documentationKnowledge of Teamcenter and NX (or equivalent PDM/PLM applications)Familiarity with requirements development, requirements verification, and engineering production activitiesAn understanding of NX and modelingDirect CAD experienceAn understanding of the Systems Engineering “V” modelExperience in reviewing technical documentationDirect professional / military experience in providing solutions to a variety of technical problems under general supervisionDirect professional / military experience in communicating with peers in a detailed and process-oriented fashion.Collaborative development and work in a team environment with other highly motivated system engineersBasic Qualifications:Applicable at a Principal Engineer Level (level 3):Must have a Bachelors degree in a STEM field and at least 5 years of relevant military / professional experience, OR a Master's Degree in a STEM field and at least 3 years of relevant military / professional experience, OR a PhD and at least 1 year of relevant military / professional / academic experienceApplicable at a Senior Principal Engineer Level (level 4):Must have a Bachelors degree in a STEM field and at least 8 years of relevant military / professional experience, OR a Master's Degree in a STEM field and at least 6 years of relevant military / professional experience, OR a PhD and at least 4 years of relevant military / professional experienceApplicable at Both Levels:Must have the ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in configuration management and product lifecycle management toolsProfessional certificationsExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent time management and organizational skillsPrimary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
