Description: This position requires floating between multiple emergency room locations in the area. The schedule will be provided in advance so travelers know which location they will be reporting to. COVID declination is accepted for medical or religious reasons. All travelers are required to pass a skills lab assessment on the first day of orientation. Candidates will also learn about lifts, restraints, and wound care; this is educational since equipment and policies may vary. RNs will work with a maximum of 4 patients per nurse. Employee will be one of only two RNs on staff at satellite locations. Weekend and holiday coverage is required as needed. The emergency room is capable of handling vents. Lab draws will be performed by emergency room staff. The electronic medical record system in use is Cerner.
