Buyer/Planner

Overview Our client located in Athol, MA is looking for a Buyer/Planner to join their growing team. Responsibilities Procure materials, components, equipment, supplies, and services to support operational requirements Plan, schedule, and monitor goods and services, employing techniques such as JIT, Kanban, Blanket POs, and Reschedules Ensure timely availability of materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels Develop, implement, and support sourcing and supplier management initiatives Maintain accurate data in the MRP/ERP system Track and manage key performance metrics Support Lean and EHS activities and initiatives Other tasks as assigned Qualifications Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred 2–3 years of related experience Computer proficiency including MS Office Suite (especially Word and Excel) Strong understanding of MRP systems (Oracle or SAP preferred) Strong negotiation and analytical skills, attention to detail, and cross-functional coordination abilities APICS or CPIM certification is a plus Benefits Pay based on experience Direct-hire opportunity Competitive benefits package #J-18808-Ljbffr Masiello Employment Services
