Benefits: Full Time Comprehensive benefits options, including medical, dental, vision, life, LTD, hospital indemnity, critical illness, and accident insurance HSA, Health Care FSA, and Dependent Care FSA EAP (Employee Assistance Program) Employee discount program PTO (Paid time off) Dayforce Wallet Daily Pay Pre‑Tax 401(k) After‑Tax Roth Tuition discount through Capella University Benefits: Part Time Sick Time EAP (Employee Assistance Program) Employee discount program Dayforce Wallet Daily Pay Tuition discount through Capella University Essential Functions Direct Services – Provide care per the support plan created by the resident’s team (Direct Care Coordinator, Case Manager, Guardian, Day Program staff) Program Planning – Assist in implementing individual program plans and provide constructive feedback during staff meetings Documentation – Maintain accurate records, participate in, and follow through with all programming Daily Progress – Gather and record information about resident progress each day to demonstrate measurable outcomes Resident Routines – Follow through with each resident’s established routines Resident Rights – Ensure resident rights are protected and observed Training and Meetings – Attend all mandatory staff meetings and scheduled trainings Environment – Create and maintain a homelike, nurturing environment respectful of the home setting Health, Safety, and Welfare – Protect health, safety, and overall well‑being of each resident Policies and Procedures – Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in training Reporting Structure – Report to the Designated or Assistant Designated Coordinator; bring concerns to the DC respectfully Physical Environment – Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly home environment Household Chores – Follow any assigned chore list to keep the home clean Teamwork and Professionalism – Work together as a team; treat all individuals with respect and professionalism Attendance and Punctuality – Schedule serves residents’ needs first; accommodate staff schedules when possible Confidentiality – Protect confidentiality of all home matters; share only with the DC as needed Other – Perform additional duties as assigned Areas of Support Personal hygiene and grooming, including incontinence support Care of clothing and personal belongings Understanding and exercising rights in the community Fulfilling responsibilities in the community Personal awareness Routine health care Community orientation Recreation and leisure activities Meal preparation and planning Dietary oversight Housekeeping and home maintenance Developing interpersonal relationships Emergency procedures Personal program participation Anger management Money management Caring for personal property Behavioral intervention Addressing medical needs Education & Experience Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: Must obtain and maintain active First Aid and CPR certification; must obtain crisis de‑escalation or therapeutic intervention training when scheduled Physical Requirements Work may be in a program location with occasional outdoor community work; frequent sitting, grasping, conversing, hearing, and repetitive motions; occasional lifting of 50 lbs; occasional bending, twisting, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, standing, crawling, reaching, walking, driving, traveling, kneeling, and crouching Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge: Strong understanding of state and federal regulations, person‑centered philosophy, client service needs, medication administration protocols, emergency and disaster response procedures, mandated reporting requirements, and positive behavior support practices Skills: Strong organizational and time‑management skills; prioritize and multi‑task effectively; critical thinking; basic written and verbal communication; active listening; basic reading comprehension; teamwork; problem‑solving Abilities: Interact effectively with management; maintain strict confidentiality; attention to detail; flexibility and adaptability; work with diverse populations; provide compassionate care including medication and treatment administration; uphold positive attitude, strong work ethic, responsibility, and self‑discipline; creativity; empathy; multicultural awareness; sustained concentration #J-18808-Ljbffr Redwood Family Care Network
