Midlevel Environmental Technician Beaumont TX

Job Description AECOM is seeking an experienced Mid-level Environmental Technician IV to join our growing EHS & Air group. This position requires the candidate to work onsite in Beaumont, TX. Responsibilities Perform a variety of tasks in support of air quality project staff. Gather and maintain specified records of scientific data for supervisor, including but not limited to environmental sampling, operations and maintenance and inspections at client sites. Assist with calculations, set up and operate equipment, inspect equipment and installations for compliance with specifications and maintain proper project documentation. Collect and enter data and apply technical principles and theories under supervision. Work independently. Occasionally interface with clients. Qualifications High school education plus 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in maintaining and repairing electronic instrumentation. Valid U.S. Driver’s license required. U.S. citizenship required. Preferred Qualifications Valid TWIC card. Prior experience with Gas Chromatography. Computer skills with software installation and basic troubleshooting. Additional Information Relocation will not be offered for this position. All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.
