What matters most To excel as a Part‑Time Teller at Apple River State Bank in Galena, IL, you'll need a blend of essential skills and qualifications. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with at least one year of related experience or training—or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous cash handling or sales experience is preferred, as it demonstrates your ability to manage financial transactions efficiently. Strong customer service skills are crucial for creating positive interactions with clients, addressing their needs, and providing solutions. Your attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities will be invaluable in ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
