Field Sales Representative Contractor - 1099 White Plains, NY, US Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $150,000.00 Annually Job Title: Field Sales Representative (Practice Management Consultant) Reports to : Sales Operations Manager Position Summary: The Field Sales Representative serves as the account executive and closer for prospective Myriad Systems clients. This 1099 independent contractor develops relationships with privately owned healthcare practices, identifies business needs, presents Myriad Systems products and services, manages proposals and negotiations, and guides opportunities through signed agreement. Success in this role requires field-based prospecting, consistent follow-up, strong product knowledge, professional communication, and self-directed execution. Key Performance Areas & Key Performance Indicators: Sales Quota & Target Metric Achieved: Build and maintain a pipeline through field prospecting, outreach, referrals, and networking Identify practice needs and recommend appropriate Myriad Systems products and services Own the sales process from discovery through proposal, negotiation, and signed agreement Follow up consistently and maintain accurate opportunity records through close Client Relationship Management: Coordinate with Myriad Systems departments to present accurate solutions and support a clear client handoff Serve as the primary sales contact through close and maintain professional client relationships Product and Market Knowledge: Participate in product and service training with managers and developers Maintain a thorough understanding of Myriad Systems products, services, features, and pricing Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings Explain product capabilities in practical terms that connect to each client's needs Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, psychology, communications, or a related field preferred Experience: One to two years of sales experience preferred, including field sales, account executive, or closing responsibilities Strong understanding of consultative sales, customer service, and the products and services Myriad Systems provides Ability to prospect independently, build relationships, conduct discovery, negotiate terms, and close agreements Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, CRM or sales systems, and telephone systems Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and time-management skills Operations Knowledge – Thorough understanding of operational procedures and their impact on other departments. Acts as an expert resource for others. Product Knowledge – Comprehensive knowledge of products and services offered, including features and pricing. Ability to recommend appropriate solutions to meet customer needs. Compliance Knowledge – Extensive understanding of general and department-specific regulations. Serves as a compliance resource for the team. Sales & Service – Guides the team to achieve goals while ensuring excellent customer service. Maintains professional communication and positive customer relationships. Teamwork – Builds morale and fosters team collaboration toward shared objectives. Welcomes feedback and supports a team-focused approach to success. ComputerSkills - Demonstrates a strong understanding of the technology used in billing operations. Consistently seeks opportunities to improve efficiency through technology.
