Job Summary:
The city of Tallahassee, Florida, is seeking qualified candidates for a position as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. This role involves providing critical and emergency respiratory care within a busy healthcare facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Tallahassee, FL
• Position: Respiratory Therapist Registered
• Schedule: Days shift, with a minimum of three 12-hour shifts per week, including rotating weekends
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: Valid licenses for respiratory therapy; certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); experience or skills in critical care and emergency care; no specific level of experience required.
• Additional Job Information: Candidates will rotate through various inpatient units and intensive care units, utilizing advanced ventilators and bedside ABG analyzers; participating in interdisciplinary team rounding and performing procedures such as intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy assist; familiarity with Meditech documentation system is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with advanced ventilator management and bedside procedures is advantageous.
