Quality Engineer III

Quality Engineer IIIWe are seeking an Automated Tester to provide hands-on expertise using the latest open-source products and best practices. This individual will be responsible for building test automation frameworks, developing and executing test plans, and creating test cases for both Java and Python data APIs. The role involves working within multi-functional Agile data delivery teams to support data movement using Kafka and big data solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain test automation frameworks.Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for data APIs and data movement processes.Develop test scripts for Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber in Gherkins format.Develop Selenium automation frameworks using Junit/TestNG and create Maven targets to execute automation suites.Configure and execute automated regression suites using Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.Utilize Selenium WebDriver/GRID for web application testing and automating regression test cases.Provide technical direction and hands-on software development, including design, development, and testing.Participate in Scrum and Kanban Agile ceremonies, such as scrums, planning events, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and demos.Required QualificationsExperience in building automated test frameworks and developing data testing solutions.Proficiency with automation testing tools such as XML/SOAP UI for Webservices.Knowledge of Scrum and Kanban Agile development processes.Experience developing test scripts for BDD using Cucumber (Gherkins format).Experience developing Selenium automation frameworks with Junit/TestNG and Maven.Experience with automation technologies including Jenkins and Maven.Proficiency in using Selenium WebDriver/GRID for web application automation.Knowledge of programming languages for automation testing, such as Python and Java.Experience with Java and JavaScript-based technologies, such as node.js or angular.js.Preferred QualificationsBanking or Capital Markets industry experience is preferred.Knowledge or certification in C++.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
