Job Description

A Vero Beach based client is looking for an experienced and collaborative Pediatric Physician to provide care to those under eighteen in a community health center. An ideal candidate values providing equitable and evidence-based care to all patients. The clinic system is large, supportive, and multidisciplinary.

Required Qualifications

• Active FL Physician License
• Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics
• Active DEA certification
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in children
• Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
• Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients and families on treatment plans
• Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
• Supervise NPs and PAs within regulations
• Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy
