Director of Financial Reporting

We're partnering with a growing, multi-entity organization to identify a Director of Financial Reporting who will lead enterprise financial reporting while serving as a key liaison between Accounting, FP&A, and business operations. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of consolidated financial reporting while transforming financial data into meaningful business insights for executive leadership. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with a commercial mindset and a passion for improving reporting, analytics, and decision-making. Responsibilities: Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements. Partner closely with Accounting and FP&A to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely financial reporting across multiple legal entities. Develop executive-level reporting packages, KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics that provide meaningful insight into business performance. Analyze financial results against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities. Improve management reporting by standardizing financial metrics, streamlining processes, and enhancing reporting capabilities through automation and technology. Support the monthly close process, financial consolidations, intercompany reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and maintain strong financial controls while supporting external audits. Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Operations, IT, and business leaders to improve data quality and reporting accuracy. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA strongly preferred. 8+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, audit, or corporate finance. Strong knowledge of consolidated financial reporting and U.S. GAAP (IFRS exposure is a plus). Experience within a complex, multi-entity or multi-location organization. Background partnering with both Accounting and FP&A teams to deliver executive-level reporting and business insights. Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools, business intelligence platforms, or dashboards.
