Labor and Employment Associate

Job OverviewA law firm seeks a highly qualified Labor and Employment Associate to join their team in Providence, RI. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on litigation, counseling, and policy drafting. Duties Represent clients in labor and employment litigation, including wage and hour, discrimination, and non-compete cases. Provide employment and HR-related counseling. Draft employment-related policies and agreements. Conduct investigations and trainings. Handle transactional and due diligence matters. Engage in collective bargaining negotiations and union organizing campaigns. Requirements Minimum of four years of experience in labor and employment law. Experience with labor relations and executive compensation is a plus. Strong analytical, writing, and oral communication skills. Excellent academic record. Education J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school. Certifications Active member in good standing of the bar. Skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
