Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

The RN will care for patients from labor through discharge. The shift involves working 3 nights a week from 7 PM to 7 AM. The RN is expected to manage multiple labor patients simultaneously. Experience with diabetic and drug/alcohol issues in mothers is beneficial. There are no high-risk deliveries, and all patients are 36 weeks or more. Special care and high-risk infants are transported out of the unit. The RN will need to stabilize infants and provide infant care during C-sections. BLS, ACLS, NRP, and fetal heart monitoring certifications are required. This position may be in a very rural area.

Must-Have: L&D, postpartum, mother-baby, and nursery experience
