Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong assessment, documentation, and patient education skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Med/Surg environment
• Experience supporting care coordination and interdisciplinary teamwork

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate patient status changes to the care team to support continuity and safety
• Support discharge planning and patient/family teaching from admission through discharge
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
• Supervise and support ancillary nursing personnel as appropriate
• Promote a safe, organized, and positive care environment for patients and staff
• Participate in team-based care and contribute to quality patient outcomes
