Position Summary:

The Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of automotive and industrial paint products, coatings, and related supplies to customers. This role serves as a representative of the company during deliveries and requires professionalism, reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service. The Driver ensures products are transported and delivered in excellent condition while maintaining positive customer relationships. In addition to delivery responsibilities, this position assists with warehouse operations, including picking and packing orders, stocking shelves, receiving inventory, organizing products, and supporting other warehouse and store duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company delivery vehicle to transport products to body shops, industrial facilities, and other customer locations.
• Verify and load customer orders accurately based on invoices or packing slips.
• Unload deliveries at customer sites, ensuring products are delivered in good condition.
• Maintain delivery logs, mileage reports, and delivery records as required.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist in warehouse duties when needed (e.g., stocking, picking, packing).
• Follow all DOT and company safety regulations and policies
• Provide excellent service and represent Colours, Inc. in a professional and courteous manner.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory control through proper documentation, organization, and system updates.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment in a timely and accurate manner.
• Operate warehouse equipment as needed, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with company and safety standards.
• Assist with stock replenishment, cycle counts, and inventory audits as required.
• Perform other duties within store as assigned during driver downtime.

Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in route delivery required; warehouse or distribution is a plus.
• Good communication skills and a strong customer service mindset.
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently
• Knowledge of local delivery routes and territory is helpful

• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing delivery tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintains a clean driving record and always represents Colours, Inc. in a professional manner.
