Position Brentwood, NY – USA. Anesthesiologist at a Long Island Ambulatory Surgery Center with 2 operating rooms. About the Role All outpatient work with no on‑call duties. Great work/life balance opportunity. Case Assignments Primarily ophthalmology procedures; preference for physicians comfortable with peribulbar blocks. Additional training provided. Schedule Weekdays 7 a.m.–6 p.m.; no call. Additional overtime pay available after hours. Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department. Responsible for the medical management of patients rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain during surgery and other medical procedures. Pre‑anesthesia assessment. Obtain and/or verify patient consent. Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient; perform induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitor the patient’s physiological condition. Perform clinical interventions as needed. Qualifications M.D./D.O. from an accredited College of Medicine. ECFMG and FLEX. Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia. Currently licensed as a physician. Compensation Hourly Rate: $285.
